Q: What do I do if I can’t find my email receipt/e-ticket?
A: Don’t worry. Once you purchase a ticket on our site your name is added to a will call list. Most organizations, including the Lowell Summer Music Series, will accept a photo ID for admission to events once you are on this list.
If you need a copy of your e-ticket or receipt, email us at info@mktix.com and we will send you a link.
Q: I’m trying to purchase a ticket on your site but I keep getting an error message.
A: Check to be sure that the name and address you are using for your purchase matches the information on your credit card billing statement. If that does not seem to be the problem, check to see if you are using the Microsoft Edge browser. If so, open a different browser and continue with your transaction. If that still doesn’t work, send us an email at info@mktix.com with a phone number where you can be reached and we will be happy to help you with your purchase over the phone.
Q: I received a charge on my credit card statement from MKtix.com or MKpay.com, but I don’t know what the charge is for.
A: Email us at info@mktix.com and we will be happy to look up your transaction for you.
Q: I purchased tickets to an event but I can longer attend. Can I get a refund?
A: MKtix sells tickets on behalf of other businesses and organizations. Questions about refunds should be directed to the organization that is hosting the event.
Q: I have questions about the venue where an event is being held or need detailed information about an event.
A: Because MKtix sells tickets on behalf of other businesses and organizations we are unable to answer specific questions about an event or venue. Questions about an event or the venue where it’s being held should be directed to the organization that is hosting the event. Often the host organization’s website will include specific event information and updates.
Q: I purchased tickets for an event on your site but now that event is cancelled. How do I get a refund?
A: If an event you have purchased tickets for is cancelled, refunds are issued automatically. You will most likely receive an email letting you know that the event has been cancelled and that a refund will be or has been issued. If you aren’t sure if a refund has been issued, email us at info@mktix.com. Note that refunds can take up to five business days to appear in your account.
Q: I accidentally put my ticket order through more than once. What do I do?
A: Email us at info@mktix.com right away and we will be happy to remove the additional charge(s) from your account.
Q: I’d like to sell tickets online using MKtix. How do I get started?
A: Selling tickets on our site is easy. Just fill out our online submission form or email your event information to info@mktix.com. We will create your ticketing page and send you a test link for approval. Once your ticketing page is approved you can begin selling tickets. For more information about our services, take a look at our brochure. There are no set up or sign up fees to use our services.
Q: I sold tickets to an event on MKtix. How do I get paid?
A: Consolidated payment checks are generally mailed the week after an event, or series of events, ends. Ongoing items (memberships, registrations, donations) are paid by consolidated check monthly. It’s also possible to arrange an alternate payment schedule. Just let us know at the time you submit your event.
